There are several possible solutions to this issue.
In the web UI, go to System/Maintenance:
- Choose Reinitialize Packet Storage. (If that selection is not available, choose Reformat Packet Storage.)
- If this does not work, reboot the Shark and then login to the UI
- This time select "Format Packet Storage" first, then if necessary, choose "Reinitialize Packet Storage".
If the process does not work, login to the Shark via ssh (using putty, SecureCRT, etc).
Username/pass:
admin/admin
Run this command three times:
packet-storage reinitialize raid0
Note: for older Shark software, the command is:
packet-storage reinitialize
If that does not fix the problem, please generate "Complete" system logs and contact technical support.
