Riverbed Engineering released this new 'Super SHM Cleaner Tool' version to remove SHM client corruptions detected while upgrading SteelHead Mobile client in Microsoft Windows.
Solution
Super SHM Cleaner Tool was tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10 clients, and requires elevated command prompt priviledges before execution (local administrator rights). This new installer version is digitally signed to prevent be flagged as a threat by antivirus.

What does the SteelHead Mobile Super Cleaner software do?
1. Perform a SteelHead Mobile registry cleanup, deleting registry Keys under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkSetup2\Filters\{BF432DCE-959B-4AB9-A3E8-4B8183A7E5DE} if they exist
2. Deletes the SHM driver file (if it exists) from under the following directories:C:\Windows\System32\drivers\
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository
3. Ensures 'rbtnfd_xxxxxx' folder located in C:\Windows\System32\DRVSTORE is removed. The ‘rbtnfd_xxxxxx’ folder is a driver folder created for the Riverbed Technology Network Filter Driver.
