SCC connection failure when AUX port is defined.

Issue

When trying to connect to steel head appliances or EX appliancesfrom the Dash Board of the SCC, the connection fails due to timeout caused by the client PC unable to resolve the IP address.
 

Solution

The problem is that when the client tries to resolve the steel head using the IP address included in the SCC configuration whilst using the link in the Dashboard of the SCC.

To avoid this problem navigate to the following location of the SCC - "Administration > Security > SCC Security" and in the section "Appliance Connection" and select "Use the Fully Qualified Domain Name provided by the Appliance"

The above solution allows the client PC to use the name/FQDN to be provided by the SCC and allow a direct resolution of target steel head.
