 What is the procedure to physically connect multiple Storage Units to SCAN-06170 ?

 SCAN-06170 Head End Unit :

Slot 4 on the chassis provides two SFF 8644 SAS connectors labeled "SAS Port A" and "SAS Port B." Connect port A on the 6170 base unit to port A on a storage unit. Use port B on the storage unit to connect to port A on the next storage unit. Continue until all storage units are connected in a linear daisy chain.The installation of a 6170 with storage units requires that the storage units are powered on and connected before the 6170 is powered on. Once the physical connections are made, Check the Web-Interface to see if the automatic enrollment process registered the Storage Unit. If it did not auto-enroll, Follow the instructions on Page 7 of Quick Install Guide.
