Security Finder

continuously updated, displaying the most current public security issues first. The search box can be used to

records by specific CVE numbers or relevant search word, e.g. Apache, 8.5.0, Workaround. For additional

CVE-2017-8824: Linux kernel <= 4.14.3 dccp_disconnect(). (Bug #294890)
Summary
DETAILS: CVE-2017-8824 Linux kernel <= 4.14.3 dccp_disconnect(). The dccp_disconnect function in net/dccp/proto.c in the Linux kernel through 4.14.3 allows local users to gain privileges or cause a denial of service (use-after-free) via an AF_UNSPEC connect system call during the DCCP_LISTEN state. FIX: Patched the kernel with the vendor-provided fix. RECOMMENDATION: Upgrade to a software version with this fix.
